How to Apply for International Driving Permit (IDP) in India

If any Indian citizen who visits foreign countries wants to drive a motor vehicle there, your Indian Driving Licence is valid, provided it must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). Someone tries to mislead the common people by saying that it is an International Driving License. But IDP is only a permit issued by the RTOs in the respective states and has a maximum validity of one year from the date of issue, or up to the expiry date of your driving license, whichever is earlier. There is a huge list of countries that recognize IDP as a legal source to drive/ride on foreign land. IDP helps you rent a car or bike without much of a fuss when you are traveling abroad.

It is an official translation of your driver’s license issued in your home country. The document essentially states that you possess a valid driver’s license and it translates your license documents into a number of languages so authorities abroad are able to verify and understand your driving credentials.

The document is printed in a number of different languages- English, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian as well as German, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, and the Scandinavian languages. This enables authorities in those countries to understand your driver’s license. This is especially important in case of any mishap since it will prove your driving credentials. The most important thing everyone should bear in mind is that the international driving permit cannot be renewed in any case. You will have to get a new permit if your current permit has expired.

FLOW:

Registration:

-User verifies his/her mobile no. using OTP

-Fills Patient Registration Form

-eSanjeevaniOPD assigns a Patient ID

Token:

-User requests a token for consultation

-Uploads health records, if any

-User receives Patient ID & Token through SMS

Login:

-Closer to the turn eSanjeevaniOPD sends a SMS notification asking user to login

-User logs in using Patient ID

-Patient enters the clinic and is placed at the end of the existing queue. If there is no queue you will be placed at serial no. 1

 

Wait:

-eSanjeevaniOPD assigns a doctor to the patient (time interval depends on the length of the queue)

-As the doctor is assigned to the patient “CALL NOW” button gets activated

 

-Upon clicking “CALL NOW” within 10 seconds the doctor shows up in video

Consultation:

-Patient consults the doctor

-During the consultation doctor has an access to the patient’s health records (if uploaded)

ePrescription:

-During the consultation, doctor prepares an electronic prescription (ePrescription)

-At the end of the consultation doctor sends the ePrescription and closes the call

-ePrescription shows up on patient’s end.

-Patient logs out after saving/printing the received ePrescription

After the call eSanjeevaniOPD sends SMS notification to the patient with a link to download ePrescription

Norka Roots Relief Project for Returned Pravasi Keralites

NORKA (Non-Resident Keralites Affairs) is a department of the Government of Kerala formed on 6th December 1996 for the well-being of Nonresident Keralites(NRKs). NORKA Roots is a field agency that connects between NRKs and Kerala government. NORKA has started the registration through their website for expatriates Keralites. It is needed for ethnic Keralites as well as people from other states who working here to register under the NORKA site.

Kerala NRK  welfare gives emphasis on giving funds for treatments and other welfare schemes for NRK people. Many people still haven’t any idea about this beneficial plan. You can apply for the registration online. After the online registration, you need to send the corresponding hard copy to the NRK welfare office. NRK welfare pension will be a great relief for the NRKs as they lead lion’s share of their life abroad.
