Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering. OR Three years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with two years work experience. Only men can apply to Border Roads. It also has physical qualifications.

Age Limit: 32 years for applying to Central Public Works Department and Central Water Commission and 30 years for applying to other institutions/departments. Age will be calculated based on 1st January 2022. SC, ST Category candidates have five years and O.B.C. Category candidates will get relaxation for all the three years. There will be statutory age relaxation for differently abled persons and ex-servicemen.
Pay Scale: Rs.35,400-1,12,400.
പ്രായപരിധി: സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ പബ്ലിക് വര്‍ക്‌സ് ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റ്, സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ വാട്ടര്‍ കമ്മിഷന്‍ എന്നിവയിലേക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന് 32 വയസ്സും മറ്റുസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലേക്ക്/ വകുപ്പുകളിലേക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന് 30 വയസ്സുമാണ് പ്രായപരിധി. 2022 ജനുവരി ഒന്ന് അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് പ്രായം കണക്കാക്കുക. എസ്.സി., എസ്.ടി. വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അഞ്ചുവര്‍ഷത്തെയും ഒ.ബി.സി. വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍ക്ക് മൂന്നുവര്‍ഷത്തെയും ഇളവ് ലഭിക്കും. ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാര്‍ക്കും വിമുക്തഭടര്‍ക്കും നിയമാനുസൃത വയസ്സിളവുണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
ശമ്പള സ്‌കെയില്‍: 35,400-1,12,400 രൂപ.
Examination: The examination will be conducted in two papers namely Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive). The duration of both the exams is two hours. Syllabus in the accompanying table.
പരീക്ഷ: പേപ്പര്‍-I (കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ അധിഷ്ഠിത പരീക്ഷ), പേപ്പര്‍-II (വിവരണാത്മകം) എന്നിങ്ങനെ രണ്ട് പേപ്പറുകളായാണ് പരീക്ഷ നടക്കുക. രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂറാണ് രണ്ട് പരീക്ഷയുടേയും ദൈര്‍ഘ്യം. സിലബസ് ഇതോടൊപ്പമുള്ള പട്ടികയില്‍.
Examination Centres: Karnataka and Kerala Region (KKR) includes Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. The examination centers in Kerala are Ernakulam, Kannur, Kollam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur.
പരീക്ഷാകേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്‍: കര്‍ണാടക, കേരള റീജണിലാണ് (കെ.കെ.ആര്‍) കര്‍ണാടകയും കേരളവും ലക്ഷദ്വീപും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നത്. എറണാകുളം, കണ്ണൂര്‍, കൊല്ലം, കോട്ടയം, കോഴിക്കോട്, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ എന്നിവയാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ പരീക്ഷാകേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്‍.
Application Fee: For Women and SC, ST. There is no application fee for category members and ex-servicemen. Others should pay Rs 100 online or through SBI challan by September 3. Those who pay the fee through challan should generate the same challan by September 2.
അപേക്ഷാഫീസ്: വനിതകള്‍ക്കും എസ്.സി., എസ്.ടി. വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍, വിമുക്തഭടന്മാര്‍ എന്നീ വിഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അപേക്ഷാഫീസില്ല. മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ 100 രൂപ ഓണ്‍ലൈനായോ എസ്.ബി.ഐയുടെ ചലാന്‍ വഴിയോ സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ മൂന്നിനകം അടയ്ക്കണം. ചലാന്‍ വഴി ഫീസടയ്ക്കുന്നവര്‍ അതിനുള്ള ചലാന്‍ സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ രണ്ടിനകം ജനറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യണം.
